We install this device in our office, so far is working well. Temperature is normal (40-45 C).
We are a Calling Card (VoIP) Service Provider. We serve corporate customers, some customers uses FO-link to connect the gateway in their site to our server site. In some cases we need to have Ethernet connection between 2 locations, with the distance of 2 location more then 100 m.
So, we  were considering to use your product to solve it. This device only need twisted pair cable, quite easy to find it, and the features is fulfill our need.
Basically we would recommend it to others, but we need more experiences to use this device.

Our main concern before we placed order
was if it will work, and if the power supply will be able to cope with unstable generator power. Also high temperature and humidity which is a problem in Liberia.

I find that the product does what is says, and I am very happy thus far, we had instances where power supplies on the LAN extender did blow unfortunately, we use the LAN extenders to feed our remoter sites of 3 to 5 machines, and it seems to work fine as a "Link", not just a single machine device.

It is plug and play, no complex configurations is needed, thus making it a reliable fast temporary link when we have fibre breakages or fibre module failures. Robust and like I said, very simple and easy to implement.

Yes I would recommend it to others, especially for remote offices where there is existing telephone cable infrastructure, also a cheaper solution to Fibre links for less than 5 machines, so in the long run a big saving not having to have fibre equipment, cables and splicing.

AN-LAN-EXT LAN extender (RJ11 or BNC) can transmit long-distance transmission of network as long as 6,000 meters through twisted pair, telephone line, coaxial cable, etc. And the maximum bandwidth can be up to 148Mbps. This device needs to be used in pair, one as a local receiver and the other as a remote transmitter. When it transmits network and also simultaneously transmit telephone signals (Need for connecting additional splitter ). So you can use the existing network of telephone lines for network signal transmission.

This LAN extender device has functions for signal channel re-measure, re-interleaving, deinterleaving and properly deal with the problems which may encounter in actual line applications. This device has very wide application fields. To be frank, it can change any of the copper resources into Ethernet copper cable to carry a variety of IP services such as video (IPTV), phone (VoIP) and data (IP Data), provide video entertainment, voice calls, data transmission and other services. Installation tips:

LAN extender Product Installation Steps:
1. Connect the local IP Extender LAN port (1) to the network equipment RJ45 output. The LINE port (2) uses RJ11 connector to connect the two core cable (extension part).
2. Connect the low-voltage power supply (DC12V) to the port ⑶, then green signal indicator lights⑻.
3. Connect the other end of the two-core cable with RJ11 connector to the remote IP Extender LINE port (9).The LAN port is connected to the network equipments (such as network cameras) (10) through network patch cord.
4. Connect the low-voltage power supply (DC12V) to the port (11), then green signal indicator lights (16).
5. When network transmission is smooth, the IP Extender automatically tries to connect. The LINE signal indicator (5) (13) continuously flash about 10 times then they light all the time. The DATA signal indicator (6) (14) quickly flash show network signal transmission which is smooth.
6. The RESET button (4) (12) are used when network transmission is not smooth. It only can recover the transmission channel of IP Extender.
